A financial institution backed by a listed group is seeking a Fund Accounting & Operations Manager/Senior Manager to oversee fund accounting operations, portfolio administration, regulatory reporting, and team leadership across a diverse range of investment products.
Key responsibilities
Oversee fund accounting and operational activities for designated investment portfolios and trust-based fund structures, including fund valuation, trade reconciliation, settlement, corporate actions, cash management, liquidity monitoring, and custodian account administration.
Lead and develop a team of 5-6 staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Validate portfolio valuations and reconciliations, and review management and regulatory reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
Support the launch and onboarding of new funds and portfolios, including KYC due diligence, custody and trading account setup, operational readiness, and system configuration.
Coordinate with auditors on annual audits and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements.
Drive technology, process improvement, and control enhancement initiatives through business requirements analysis, UAT, system migration, implementation, and automation projects to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Undertake ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives to support business objectives.
About you
Bachelor or Master's degree holder with 6-12 years of fund accounting and operations experience.
CPA qualification is an advantage.
Solid exposure to SFC-authorized/public funds and ETFs.
Strong knowledge of trust-based fund structures and relevant local and international regulatory requirements
Experience in SFC regulatory filings is an advantage.
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
