Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to join our ETF Services team within the Operations Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end operational lifecycle of Exchange‑Traded Funds (ETFs) in the primary market. Responsibilities include ensuring precise ETF creation and redemption processing, adhering to local regulatory requirements, and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal applicant should possess prior ETF operations experience, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and provide daily operational support including ETF creation / redemption and perform daily reconciliations; shift duty may be required
• Prepare ETF agreements, operational procedures, MIS reporting for management
• Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to support the business and to facilitate the launch of ETFs in primary and secondary markets
• Propose appropriate operational flow changes to enhance the day‑to‑day operational efficiency
• Support various automation and process reengineering initiatives to eliminate manual and redundant tasks
• Undertake other ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior
• Identify exceptional cases / contingency situations and elevate to management

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines
• Knowledge of clearing / settlement / nominees / custodial operations in Hong Kong and Global markets
• At least 2–3 years’ of relevant experience, preferably in well‑established financial organization
• Proactive, flexible, innovative, and ability to multitask and work under pressure; team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Curiosity to look beyond face value, get to the bottom of “why” and to answer the “so what”
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and Chinese Word Processing
• Proficiency in macros and VBA is an advantage
