Job summary

Speedy Group Corp. Limited is seeking a Network Operations Support Engineer to join our Wan Chai team. This on-site, full-time role focuses on implementing and supporting network and related telecommunications projects, fault reporting, and service delivery for clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Higher Diploma in Computing/Information Technology with at least two years in IT operations support or IT helpdesk. Shift duties apply based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Computing/Information Technology.
• At least 2 years IT operational support or IT helpdesk experience.
• Familiar with corrective and preventive maintenance and real-time operation systems.
• Familiar with Network Management Systems (NMS) and IT ticketing workflow.
• Experience in network, server, video or fibre/mobile systems preferred.
• Good communication with end users and contractors.
• Shift-duty as required.

About the role

Speedy Group Corp. Limited is seeking a Network Operations Support Engineer to join our growing team in Wan Chai. This is a full-time position based on-site in Wan Chai District. As a Network Operations Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing implementation and system support, follow up with fault reporting issues for performing network equipment, video and related telecommunications projects.

Key responsibilities

• To monitor the network management and other supporting system and communicate with user, project team and contractors on the issues found.
• To perform the daily reports on the system faults, performance and other related jobs conducted during the duty period.
• To provide logistic arrangement for the contractor for site access to rectify the faults or perform routine jobs and necessary support for solving the issues between the contractors and site owners.

What we're looking for

• Diploma/ Higher Diploma in Computing/ Information Technology
• At least 2 years working experience in IT operational support or IT helpdesk/network support
• Familiar with the corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and system support on real time operation systems
• Familiar with Network Management Systems (NMS) and IT service ticketing workflow
• Experience in handling experiences in either network, server, video system, or fibre/mobile communications systems is highly preferred
• Good communications skills with the end users and contractor under contractual obligations
• Shift-duty is required according to operational needs
