Job summary

Speedy Group Corp. Limited in Hong Kong manages critical data center operations and IT facilities to ensure high availability and performance. The role requires hands-on monitoring, troubleshooting and timely responses to incidents within the data center environment.

The candidate should have at least 2 years IT experience and knowledge of monitoring systems, network operations and IT ticket workflows. Shift duties and travel allowances are provided to support operations.

Qualifications

• Must have HKCEE/HKDSE; IT certificate or diploma preferred.
• At least 2 years IT working experience.
• Knowledge in system/network monitoring systems.
• Knowledge in IT support tickets workflow is an advantage.
• Experience in operator duty or data center is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate operation center/ data center facilities, monitor their performance and troubleshoot issues
• Monitor the availability and performance of environmental facilities in data centre
• Perform access control for visitors of data centre by verifying their authorization in the access control system
• Monitor the physical security in operation center/ data center by means of digital video recording system and perform routine physical security checking
• Assist in handling Helpdesk activities, including problem reporting and incident handling
