Job summary

Classy Wheeler Limited is seeking a skilled network engineer for a 12-month renewable contract at HKIWMF (Shek Kwu Chau), with shuttle service from Tsuen Wan West. You will support development and system integration, manage configurations, and coordinate across internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless connectivity.

Applicants should have hands-on experience in routing, switching, firewall configurations, and strong cybersecurity and monitoring knowledge.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in network engineering, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity requirements, remote access controls, and network monitoring standards.
• Site access requires a valid Safety Card (Green Card).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive network technical support throughout development and system integration phases.
• Execute and manage network configuration activities across internal teams and external contractors.
• Coordinate complex integration requirements across multiple work packages to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Review connectivity dependencies and resolve network-related technical issues in a timely manner.
• Enforce a clearly defined ownership model for configuration changes, including approval and implementation responsibilities.
• Maintain up-to-date as-built configuration documentation and detailed change logs in accordance with project governance.
• Apply standard configuration templates covering switching, firewall, and routing configurations across all systems.
• Perform thorough validation testing, including connectivity, failover, and security policy enforcement.

• Available to work onsite at HKIWMF (Shek Kwu Chau) with shuttle ferry service provided from Tsuen Wan West.
• Exhibit strong troubleshooting, organizational, and technical documentation skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.
