Job summary

Captiare Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Network Engineer for our HK office. The role focuses on Network & Systems Support and security enhancement projects, with responsibilities including configuring networks, managing firewalls, VPN, and cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in Network/Security/Infrastructure roles.
• CCNA/CCNP or related certifications.
• Experience with Firewall, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, IPS in a large enterprise.
• Familiar with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Huawei products.
• Exposure to security enhancement projects is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle ad hoc issues.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network configuration and implementation for the group.
• Administer network security including firewalls, routers, servers, VPN, etc.
• Deploy server and cloud solutions with ongoing improvements.
• Manage vendors and operation centres to ensure service delivery.
• Engage in information security enhancement projects.
• Participate in system upgrades and new technology implementations.

The role will be responsible for Network & Systems Support and will also take part in ongoing Information Security enhancement projects. The Job:

• Conduct Network configuration and implementation for the group
• Responsible for Network & Security administration including firewalls, routers, servers, VPN etc.
• Deploy Server & Cloud solutions and identify ways for ongoing improvement
• Manage vendors and operation centers to ensure satisfactory delivery of service
• Engage in Information Security enhancement projects
• Take part in system upgrade and implementation of new technologies

The Candidate:

• Degree or diploma holder in computer science or related disciplines
• At least 4 years of experience working in a Network/ Security/ Infrastructure role
• Holder of CCNA/ CCNP/ related certificates
• Experience supporting Firewall, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, IPS for a sizeable enterprise
• Familiar with Cisco/ Palo Alto/ Fortinet/ Huawei products
• Past exposure in security enhancement projects would be an advantage
• Good communication skills and ability to respond to ad hoc issues
• Fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin
