Job summary

Classy Wheeler Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide end-user computing support, laptop provisioning, and peripheral management across company staff and project contractors. The role focuses on EUC, hardware deployment, and security baseline enforcement.

You will work onsite at HKIWMF (Shek Kwu Chau), with shuttle service from Tsuen Wan West, and support includes configuring devices, applying patches, and coordinating access control, VLANs, and endpoint security

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support; end-user computing, laptop provisioning, and peripherals management.
• Solid knowledge of operating systems, software installation, hardware configuration, and basic networking.
• Familiar with endpoint security, disk encryption, patch management, and VLAN segregation.
• Safety Card (Green Card) required for site access.
• Onsite work at HKIWMF (Shek Kwu Chau) with shuttle from Tsuen Wan West.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical end-user computing support for laptop provisioning across internal employees and project contractors.
• Coordinate hardware specifications, application requirements, and user access to ensure proper device deployment.
• Perform software installation, system configuration, testing, and deployment for domain-joined and non-domain devices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to define and enforce security baselines for non-domain devices, including endpoint protection, disk encryption, and patch compliance.
• Implement network access controls such as VLAN segregation or NAC mechanisms where applicable.
• Manage printer, photocopier, and scanner provisioning across project sites, artificial islands, and corporate offices.
• Conduct device setup, network configuration, testing, and deployment for all office automation equipment.
• Maintain asset tracking, inventory management, and complete formal handover checklists covering user acceptance and security validation.

Job Requirements

• • Possess hands-on experience in IT support, end-user computing, laptop provisioning, and peripherals management.
• • Demonstrate solid technical knowledge of operating systems, software installation, hardware configuration, and basic networking concepts.
• • Familiar with endpoint security practices, disk encryption, patch management, and VLAN network segregation.
• • Hold a valid Safety Card (Green Card) for site access requirements.
• • Available to work onsite at HKIWMF (Shek Kwu Chau) via provided shuttle ferry transport from Tsuen Wan West.
• • Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.
