Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Network Data Communication Engineer in Hong Kong to manage full lifecycle delivery of enterprise network projects, including construction, cutover, and post-sales support. You will work with Huawei data communication products to ensure stable, high-quality network services for clients.

The role requires 2–3 years of ASP/SI project experience, HCIE certification, and strong routing/switching skills across OSPF/BGP/VLAN/STP/MPLS.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: 2–3 years in ASP projects or equivalent network project implementation with SI.
• Certification: Valid Huawei HCIE (Datacom or Routing & Switching).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP, MPLS).
• Knowledge: Huawei data communication product lineup (NE/AR, S, USG).
• Experience: Hands-on in cutover and transformation projects; draft cutover plans.
• Language: Fluent in Cantonese and English.

Job Title: Network Data Communication Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a network engineer with solid Huawei data communication product knowledge and extensive project delivery experience to join our Hong Kong project delivery team. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of enterprise-level network projects, covering the entire process from network construction, cutover implementation, to post-sales operation and maintenance, ensuring efficient and stable network services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Project Delivery & Implementation

• Responsible for project delivery of Huawei data communication products (such as routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN, SDN solutions, etc.), including equipment installation and commissioning, configuration, and acceptance testing.
• Lead or participate in network cutover, migration, and upgrade projects to ensure minimal business disruption during operations, and prepare cutover plans and implementation reports.

2. Network Operations & Post-Sales Support

• Responsible for daily network maintenance for key clients, providing Level 2/Level 3 technical support, with rapid response and resolution of complex network faults (such as routing loops, BGP/OSPF flapping, QoS policy issues, etc.).
• Conduct regular network health checks, optimize network architecture and performance, and ensure high availability and security of the network.

3. Documentation & Process Compliance

• Prepare clear technical delivery documents, network topology diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and fault handling reports.
• Strictly comply with project construction specifications and acceptance standards, ensuring delivery quality meets Huawei ASP and industry standards.

Job Requirements

1. Essential Qualifications

• Work Experience: 2–3 years of experience in ASP (Authorized Service Partner) projects, or equivalent network project implementation experience with a system integrator (SI).
• Certification: Must hold a valid Huawei HCIE certification (in Datacom or Routing & Switching track).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in routing and switching technologies (such as OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP, MPLS, etc.), with the ability to independently troubleshoot network faults.
• Familiar with Huawei's full range of data communication products (such as NE/AR series routers, S series switches, USG series firewalls).
• Proven hands-on experience in network cutover and network transformation projects, with the ability to independently draft cutover plans.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Cantonese and English.

2. General Competencies

• Excellent client communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills, with the ability to handle high‑pressure emergency fault situations.
• Good documentation habits.
