Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on network operations and engineering experience in enterprise or critical infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of Cisco IOS, IOS‑XE and NX‑OS platforms.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, IPsec VPNs, NAT and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join our team supporting critical infrastructure for large-scale mega-projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of our mission-critical enterprise network. You will ensure high network availability, strong security, and peak performance across our Cisco routing, switching, and security environments.

The Role

• Network Operations: Monitor, maintain, and support high-availability LAN/WAN, data center, and wireless networks across mega-project sites.
• Incident Management: Handle escalation requests, troubleshoot network issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and resolve outages efficiently.
• Cisco Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco hardware including Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, Firepower/ASA firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Proactive Monitoring: Use network monitoring tools to track performance, identify bottlenecks, apply security patches, and perform routine updates.
• Change Execution: Plan and implement scheduled maintenance, firmware upgrades, and network changes to minimize operational impact.
• Documentation & On-Call: Maintain up-to-date network topologies, standard operating procedures, and inventory while participating in an on-call rotation.

Your Profile

• Experience: 3-5+ years of hands-on network operations and engineering experience in enterprise, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Cisco Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS platforms.
• Networking Protocols: Solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, IPsec VPNs, NAT, and network segmentation.
• Certifications: CCNA required; CCNP Enterprise or Security highly regarded.
• Technical Tools: Familiarity with network monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center), Wireshark, and enterprise ticketing platforms.
• Operational Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, disciplined change-management habits, and clear communication skills.
