Job summary

Pathsight Limited is seeking a Solution Consultant / Presales Engineer (Network and Cybersecurity) to provide consultancy and presales support for network and security solutions in customer environments.

You will review technical specs, prepare proposals, coordinate with customers and partners, and help design and deliver secure networking solutions across projects, leveraging your strong TCP/IP and firewall expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher diploma in Computer discipline or equivalent IT qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of network and cybersecurity solution project experience.
• Certifications in H3C, Arista are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Switch and Router (layer 2 and 3), OSPF, BGP, MPLS, ME and MACsec technologies.
• Certifications in Fortinet, F5, Palo Alto Networks and popular cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong knowledge of NextGen firewalls, load balancers, PAM, EDR/XDR solutions, WAF and cloud security solutions.
• Hands-on product knowledge and proven experience in network and security solution design and migration projects.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive, self-motivated and results oriented.
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy and presales support to help customers design, plan and implement network and cybersecurity solutions
• Possess strong technical expertise and security controls knowledge to assist customers to plan and implement security enhancement measures with solutions and services that suit their environment
• Review technical specifications and service requirements to prepare technical proposals and bid documents for response to tender, RFI, RFP of network and security solutions
• Communicate and coordinate with customers, service delivery teams and technology partners to ensure proper design and delivery of technical solutions and services
• Manage and coordinate IT projects for successful completion that meet requirements and timelines
