Job summary

Nova Partners Limited in Hong Kong seeks Head of Settlement Department to lead daily settlement-team operations and own post-trade processing across a multi-asset portfolio, including US stocks, options and related products.

You will manage end-to-end settlement for cash, securities, derivatives, oversee risk indicators, drive improvements, mentor the team, and ensure FATCA/CRS compliance while interfacing with a US clearing firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related.
10+ years post-trade / back-office ops across multi-asset.
Familiar with settlement systems and market practices; process improvement / automation preferred.
Solid working knowledge of US stocks and options settlement / clearing, plus practical experience with a US clearing firm.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management; proactive under pressure.
Fluent English and Mandarin; written Chinese a plus (Cantonese preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead daily settlement-team ops; ensure accurate, timely processing across the multi-asset portfolio.
Own end-to-end post-trade / settlement for cash, securities, derivatives and related assets.
Oversee KRIs; resolve failed trades and operational incidents.
Drive process improvement and automation.
Lead and mentor the team; deputize for Head of Back Office when required.
Work with internal businesses, counterparties and stakeholders; keep settlement compliant (including FATCA / CRS).
Own / oversee settlement and clearing for US stocks, options and related products, including day-to-day interface with the US clearing firm.
