Job summary

Job description

Direct end-to-end post-trade processing, cash/securities settlement, break resolution, and exception handling across cash securities, listed and OTC derivatives, structured products, primary market deals, and virtual assets. Coordinate closely with custodians, prime brokers, exchanges, and clearing houses.

Enforce operational controls, track daily Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), resolve failed trades, and manage operational incidents. Oversee accurate, on-time delivery of regulatory and tax reporting (e.g., FATCA/CRS).

Drive process standardization, automation, and workflow enhancements. Support new product onboarding, system implementations (UAT), and infrastructure changes to ensure operational readiness.

Serve as a senior escalation point, collaborating with Front Office, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT. Lead, mentor, and supervise junior staff, and deputize for the Head of Back Office in governance forums and senior stakeholder meetings when required.

Requirements

At least 10 years in post-trade/back-office operations across multi-asset classes (equities, fixed income, OTC/listed derivatives, structured products; digital asset experience preferred).

Deep knowledge of settlement systems, reconciliation, first-line risk control, and regulatory frameworks (FATCA/CRS). Proven experience in system rollouts and process automation.

Strong track record in team leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management in fast-paced environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required (written Chinese is a plus).
