Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a capable ETF Portfolio professional to manage and analyze multi-asset ETF portfolios, focusing on index tracking and efficient execution. The role spans portfolio construction, performance analytics, and liaison with external counterparties.

You will work with senior investment teams on ETF launches, liquidity management, and product development, leveraging Bloomberg, FactSet, and Excel-based automation to enhance processes and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in ETF portfolio management, ETF operations, index investing, portfolio analytics, trading support, or asset management.
• Solid understanding of multiple asset classes, including: Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities and ETF/index strategies.
• Familiarity with ETF creation/redemption mechanisms, portfolio construction, index methodologies, and market microstructure.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skillset; proficiency in Excel; VBA, Python, SQL advantageous.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Enfusion, Aladdin, or similar platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of derivatives, including futures and options, beneficial.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; Mandarin preferred; Cantonese an advantage.
• High-potential early-to-mid-career investment professionals seeking ETF/portfolio management track.

Responsibilities

• Support ETF portfolio management and daily operations across equities, fixed income, and commodities.
• Analyze ETF holdings, benchmark methodologies, performance, and tracking error for index replication.
• Perform pre- and post-trade analysis, liquidity assessments, and transaction cost reviews.
• Oversee ETF operations: corporate actions, rebalancing, creation/redemption, PCF prep.
• Monitor market developments across global equities, fixed income, and commodity sectors.
• Assist in ETF liquidity management with APs, market makers, brokers, custodians.
• Support development and launch of new ETF products and strategies.
• Contribute to automation using Excel VBA, Python, and other tools.
• Participate in investment committee discussions and product development.
