Job summary

China Asset Management (Hong Kong) is seeking an analytical ETF Portfolio Manager to oversee ETF portfolios, monitoring index replication, performance, and risk. You will work with traders, product development, operations, and APs to ensure efficient portfolio execution and fund outcomes.

You will conduct market and performance analyses, support pre/post-trade decisions, and contribute to new ETF product design and automation of workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years in ETF portfolio management, ETF operations, portfolio analysis, or asset management.
• Strong understanding of ETFs, index investing, and capital markets.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; programming knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ETF portfolios, tracking performance and exposures to ensure index replication.
• Conduct ETF research, performance attribution, liquidity, and risk monitoring.
• Perform pre-trade and post-trade analysis to support execution and decisions.
• Manage corporate actions, creation/redemption processes, and PCF prep.
• Coordinate with APs, market makers, brokers, custodians on ETF activities.
• Analyze market trends, volumes, and derivatives to support strategies.
• Support design, development and launch of new ETF products.
• Develop portfolio management tools, automation, and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with investment guidelines and risk controls.
• Participate in business development, client discussions, and market education.
