Manage and grow relationships with global corporate clients by delivering tailored banking solutions across lending, capital markets, transaction banking, treasury, and structured finance products, while driving revenue growth and portfolio profitability. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing corporate clients while proactively identifying new business opportunities to grow the client portfolio and drive profitability.
- Design and implement strategic account plans for assigned clients, taking ownership of revenue generation, profitability, ROE targets, and overall relationship management objectives.
- Deliver a comprehensive suite of corporate and investment banking solutions, including corporate financing, structured finance, capital markets, transaction banking, and treasury products, in partnership with product specialists and Group affiliates.
- Collaborate closely with regional offices, overseas branches, and Group entities to provide seamless client coverage and integrated cross-border banking solutions.
- Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities to increase wallet share across lending, transaction banking, treasury, capital markets, and advisory offerings.
- Oversee transaction execution from origination through completion, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of client mandates.
- Work alongside the Credit & Investment team on credit underwriting, transaction structuring, financial analysis, approval processes, and ongoing portfolio management, while maintaining compliance with the Bank's risk and regulatory standards.
- Stay abreast of market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights and value-added advisory support to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Around 10 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, financial advisory, audit, credit rating agencies, or other related financial services fields.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CPA, or equivalent qualifications are viewed favourably.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a demonstrated track record in business development and client acquisition.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess complex financial statements, identify opportunities, and evaluate credit risk.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
