Job summary

The Langham, Hong Kong is seeking a guest services professional to join our award-winning restaurant team. You will deliver excellent guest experiences through proactive interaction, assist with order taking, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of hotel/restaurant experience, a diploma or equivalent, and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Shift work with split shifts is required; knowledge of food safety is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 1 year relevant experience in hotel/restaurant preferred
• Degree or certificate in Hospitality Management, food & beverage or related disciplines advantageous
• Passionate, energetic and guest oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Available to work on shift with split shifts
• Basic Food & Beverage knowledge is a plus
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene is a plus
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent experience via proactive interaction with guests to enhance satisfaction
• Ensure restaurant daily operations are efficient and smooth
• Prepare and set up the assigned station and maintain cleanliness and readiness of restaurant
• Assist in order taking, provide recommendations on dishes, beverages and promotions
• Deliver food & beverage in a professional and courteous manner with accurate orders
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen for timely and accurate delivery
• Fulfill guest needs and respond to inquiries and special requests
• Handle VIPs/special guests' arrivals and preferences with care
• Prepare accurate bill payment and check guest satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Head / Supervisor
