Job summary

SHOPLINE is seeking a Merchant Growth Strategist to turn data, market insights and cross-functional resources into practical growth strategies for merchants. You will help frontline teams deliver data-backed growth recommendations and scalable playbooks across traffic, conversion, GMV and retention.

In this role, you’ll develop seasonal growth plans (618, 11.11, Christmas) and coordinate with Marketing Services, Partnerships, Product and CRM to package merchant-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in ecommerce, brands, digital marketing, market research, strategy consulting, or growth-related roles.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, campaign planning and merchant growth strategy with Looker/Excel/Sheets and PPT/Slides.
• Experience with Generative AI or AI-assisted analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze first-party data, industry trends and campaigns to identify growth opportunities across traffic, conversion, GMV, retention and marketing effectiveness.
• Turn learnings into reusable playbooks and best practices with practical knowledge bases.
• Develop seasonal growth strategies for key ecommerce moments and build scalable growth playbooks.
• Package resources into merchant-ready growth solutions and coordinate cross-functional execution.
