Job summary

SHOPLINE in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Sales/Business Development professional to engage potential customers across industries and convert them into SHOPLINE users. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and report progress to management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of proven success, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience in e-commerce or SaaS is a plus, as are merchant connections that can accelerate

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, demonstrating consistent success in achieving targets and generating growth.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and achieve targets independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Quick learner with an open mindset and eagerness to grow.
• Ability to work independently, with strong self-motivation and execution skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to think outside the box.
• Bonus: Strong connections with merchants who are ready or likely to join SHOPLINE
• Bonus: Experience in e-commerce or SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage potential customers from multiple industries and convert them into SHOPLINE users.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the market, focusing on acquiring and converting new prospects.
• Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing deals.
• Maintain and report business development pipelines and progress to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth merchant on-boarding experience.
