Job summary

Auberge Hospitality is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee the club's security operations at Discovery Bay. You will lead access control, patrols and risk management, develop SOPs and ensure regulatory compliance across the security function.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, English and Cantonese fluency, and a Diploma or higher in Security Management or related field. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Security Management, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of related work experience, with at least 3 in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Holder of recognized security licenses; First Aid/ CPR certification is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong security laws and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations to ensure safety for members, guests and staff.

• Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as directed by supervisors.

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the club's security operations, including access control, patrolling, and risk management. He/she is developing and reviewing the Policies for operational excellence to ensure service quality and adherence to club standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct report to the General Manager and be responsible for the security of the Club including access control, patrolling and risk management;
• Develop, implement, and continuously review the Club’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies & Procedures (P&Ps) to ensure operational excellence and compliance;
• Conduct regular risk assessments and incident investigations to ensure a safe and secure environment for members, guests and staff;
• Liaise with relevant government departments, law enforcement agencies and marina stakeholders on security matters, regulatory compliance and crisis management activities;
• Supervise the outsourced security team to ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to Club standards; and
• Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field;
• Minimum 7 years or above relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role;
• Holder of recognized security or safety licenses; possession of valid First Aid and CPR certifications is an advantage;
• In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong laws, ordinances, and statutory requirements relevant to security, safety, and risk management;
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage; and
• Shift work in weekends and public holidays is required.

Work Location: Discovery Bay
