Job summary

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking a seasoned C&B and HR operations professional to lead compensation and benefits projects and coach junior staff. You will manage annual salary surveys, HR budgeting, bonus and salary reviews, and payroll administration across Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with HRIS, and deep knowledge of PRC labour and tax laws. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential, with Putonghua preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in HRM or related field, HKQF level 5.
• At least 5 years in C&B and HR operations, preferably in financial institutions.
• Familiar with PRC Labour and Tax Law is a plus.
• Solid experience in salary survey and job matching.
• Strong sense of responsibility, numerate and detail-oriented.

Job Duties:

• Lead C&B projects and coach junior staff to execute all activities in compensation & benefits and daily HR operations for our investing banking arms.
• Responsible for annual salary survey, annual HR budget, bonus and salary review
• Take in charge of payroll administration in HK, SH and BJ
• Maintain IPL (HRIS) & e-Leave system and compile HR data management, cost analysis, and management reporting such as headcount report, turnover analysis and etc.
• Review and update C&B procedures, standards and policies
• Ensure that all employee records are fully complied with group policies and handle relevant enquiries from employees

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Human Resources Management/related discipline or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in C&B and HR operations preferably in financial institutions
• Familiar with payroll administration with knowledge of PRC Labour and Tax Law is an advantage
• Solid experience in salary survey and job matching
• Strong sense of responsibility, highly numerate and detail-oriented
• Good team player with strong supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both English and Chinese with fluency in Putonghua
• Highly proficient at MS Excel and Chinese word processing
