Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Manager (Cloud Platform) – Network & Security to lead the technical and operational management of network and security infrastructure on the private cloud platform for a financial institution.

You will act as the domain SME and system owner for network and security infrastructure, oversee lifecycle management, patching, capacity planning and incident reporting, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and system

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 8+ years total post-qualification experience with at least 3 years in a team lead or managerial role.
• Hands-on expertise in managing network and security infrastructure operations, covering architecture, dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy and security tools like ELB, VPN and sandbox.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as Cloud firewall and WAF is an advantage.
• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto and Huawei network equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical and operational management of network and security infrastructure on the private cloud platform to ensure system stability, resilience and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the domain SME and system owner for network and security infrastructure, overseeing product lifecycle management, patching, evergreen, capacity planning and incident reporting.
• Manage and support the full spectrum of network and security infrastructure including architecture design, dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy, direct connect and security tools such as Cloud Firewall, ELB, VPN and sandbox.
• Direct troubleshooting of issues, risks, production incidents and irregularities related to network and security infrastructure; drive remedial actions and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architecture Team and external vendors to design, develop and implement infrastructures aligned with business and user requirements.
• Provide on-call and onsite support for emergency production incidents and on-boarding of application systems to cloud platform.

Duties

• Serve a permanent position to a financial institution;
• Lead the technical and operational management of network and security infrastructure on the private cloud platform to ensure system stability, resilience and regulatory compliance;
• Act as the domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) and system owner for network and security infrastructure, overseeing product lifecycle management, patching, evergreening, capacity planning, troubleshooting and reporting;
• Manage and support the full spectrum of network and security infrastructure including but not limited to architecture design, dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy, direct connect and security tools such as Cloud Firewall, ELB, VPN and sandbox;
• Direct troubleshooting of issues, risks, production incidents and irregularities related to network and security infrastructure. Prepare incident / problem reports as appropriate and drive remedial actions and improvement plans;
• Provide professional infrastructure support for new project deployments and on-boarding of application systems to cloud platform, assisting the Application Team with requests, enquiries and issues such as connectivity or performance concerns;
• Collaborate with the Cloud Architecture Team, internal stakeholders and external vendors to design, develop and implement network and security infrastructures aligned with business and user requirements;
• Provide on-call and onsite support for emergency production incidents and fire-fighting situations;
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines;
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience preferably within major financial institutions including at least 3 years in a team lead or managerial role;
• Strong, hands-on expertise in managing network and security infrastructure operations, covering architecture, dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy, direct connect and security tools such as ELB, VPN and sandbox;
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as Cloud firewall and WAF is an advantage;
• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto and Huawei network equipment is preferred;
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and IT compliance standards in financial industry is beneficial;
• Positive attitude with strong commitment to deliver quality work;
• Excellent presentation, documentation and report-writing skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is favourable.
