Job summary

Computer Recruitment Consultants Limited is seeking an experienced IT network infrastructure professional to lead deployment, configuration, and migration projects in HK. You will deliver hands-on network deployment, validate interoperability, and ensure security compliance during production rollout.

Responsibilities include on-site support, documentation, testing, and coordination with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network implementation and operational support.
• Strong hands-on experience deploying network services and troubleshooting large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Deployment and Migration of Network Infrastructure

• Execute network deployments according to the approved implementation plan, including installation and configuration of firewalls and switches.
• Manage the migration of the current P-like environment to the new data center facility, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Validate connectivity and interoperability with existing systems and networks.

Configuration and Firmware Management

• Perform L2/L3 network configuration, including routing, VLAN setup, and firewall policy implementation.
• Apply firmware updates, bug fixes, and ensure compliance with Customer security standards.
• Document all configuration changes and maintain version control.

System Integration and Testing

• Conduct integration activities to ensure seamless operation with current systems and networks.
• Perform acceptance testing to validate network performance, security compliance, and operational readiness.
• Provide detailed test results and remediation plans for any identified issues.

Documentation and Operational Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive records of all installation, configuration, migration, and testing activities.
• Prepare weekly progress updates and final project summary reports.

On-Site Support and Stabilization

• Deliver hands-on technical assistance during production rollout and post-implementation stabilization.
• Ensure availability during weekends and non-office hours to meet critical project milestones.
• Respond promptly to any issues arising during the stabilization phase.

Coordination and Compliance

• Collaborate closely with Customer internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Ad-here to Customer’s IT governance, change management, and security protocols throughout the engagement.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input for decision-making.

Deliverables from the vendors

• Resource Assignment Schedule: Detailed plan for assignment of engineers matching the resources requirement of Customer.
• Compliance Documents:
• Evidence of adherence to legal employment frameworks (e.g., immigration, privacy, local employment law).
• Records confirm continuity of employment and statutory benefits for the staff.

Legal and Administrative

• Vendors must demonstrate compliance with all relevant labor and immigration regulations, particularly regarding staff assignment within the Customer’s jurisdiction.
• Must provide evidence of statutory benefits, medical insurance, and ongoing payroll management for seconded employees.
• Explicit assignment of intellectual property (all work created during contract period is the property of Customer).

Staffing and Qualification

• Confirmation that the same engineers will be assigned for the duration of the contract unless specific, customer-approved exception arises.
• Track record in providing network operations and engineering staff
• Documented onboarding, background check, and knowledge transfer protocols.
• An experienced IT network infrastructure professional responsible for providing network deployment, operations, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure resilient, secure, and high-performing network services.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures within a regulated environment
• Weekend works and 24x7 on-call standby would be required and subject to manager’s arrangement.
• University degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network implementation and operational support. Experience in the banking or financial industry is an advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience in deploying network services and troubleshooting large-scale network infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of network technologies, including but not limited to routing & switching, SDN, multicast, Wi-Fi, DDI and network security.
• Professional certifications, such as CCIE or CCNP or HCIE or vendor-specific security certifications, are an advantage.
• Familiar with network management systems is preferred.
• Experience in scripting for network automation is an advantage
• Exposure to risk management, and audit process from a networking perspective is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communications, and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and collaborate across all levels.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English is required; Mandarin is an advantage.
