Job summary

Chong Hing Bank Limited is seeking a Branch Operations Project Officer to support the Team Head in implementing general branch operations and controls. The role includes assisting daily operations, resolving service issues, and coordinating UAT for branch processes.

You will also support project delivery, maintain documentation, and help ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires a university degree in Banking & Finance or related discipline, at least five years in branch operations or

Qualifications

• University graduate in Banking & Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-year banking experience in branch project ordination or administration.
• Sound knowledge of branch operations and controls in retail banking.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Chinese Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Support Team Head to implement general branch operation and control process to meet external / internal requirements.
• Provide support to branch and resolve their issue on daily operations and services.
• Oversee UAT in respect of branch operations, including test case preparation, execution, requirements traceability, defect reporting & tracking, and sign-off assistance.
• Assist Lead Project Manager in organizing, executing and tracking project deliverables.
• Act as administrative and operational backbone of the project team, ensuring timeliness, up-to-date documentation, and smooth communication among stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain appropriate controls and risk management to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations and P&P of the Bank.
• Continuously review to identify new and emerging risk within supervising areas.
• Liaise with Compliance to review adequacy of relevant controls.
• Escalate risk reporting per organizational procedures.
• Process other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

• As keyman to oversee UAT in respect of branch operations, including but not limited to test case preparation and execution, requirements traceability, defect reporting & tracking as well as sign-off assistance.

• Continuous review to identify new and emerging risk within respective supervising areas.

• Liaise with the Compliance Department to review and assess adequacy of relevant compliance controls.

• Make appropriate escalation of risk reporting in line with organizational procedures.

• Process other ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in Banking & Finance, Business Administration or related discipline,

• Minimum 5-year banking experience in branch project ordination or administration,

• Sound knowledge of branch operations and controls in retail banking,

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent Putonghua is preferred.
