Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline; counselling qualification preferred.
  • Experience in alumni engagement, community services, programme/event management, stakeholder engagement, or related field.
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with partners, volunteers, employers, allied professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to engage diverse groups.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference; proactive, resourceful, creative, and able to take initiative.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team; good organisational, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage outreach initiatives to engage APSN alumni and connect them to APSN programmes, services, and Centre enrolment opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni events and activities with partners, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Develop and manage relationships with partners, employers, job coaches, volunteers to create training, employment and engagement opportunities for alumni.
  • Coordinate alumni support and case management with Allied Professionals and Job Coaches, including training, job placement and Financial Assistance Scheme.
  • Coordinate marketing, branding, and communications of alumni events with HQ Corporate Planning Team to enhance outreach and participation.
  • Manage programme budgets and resources, monitor expenditure, and ensure successful implementation, reporting and continual improvement of alumni programmes.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage outreach initiatives to engage APSN alumni and connect them to relevant APSN programmes, services, and Centre enrolment opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni events and activities with partners, ensuring that objectives and desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Develop and manage relationships with professional partners, allied professionals, job coaches, employers, and volunteers to create training, employment, and engagement opportunities for alumni.
  • Coordinate alumni support and case management with Allied Professionals and Job Coaches, including facilitating training, job placement, and the Financial Assistance Scheme.
  • Coordinate the marketing, branding, and communications of alumni events and activities with the HQ Corporate Planning (CP) Team to enhance outreach and participation.
  • Manage programme budgets and resources effectively, monitor expenditure, and ensure the successful implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement of alumni programmes and activities.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline, a qualification in Counselling or a related field would be preferred.
  • Experience in alumni engagement, community services, programme/event management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field. Experience in the Special Educational Needs sector would be an advantage.
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with partners, volunteers, employers, allied professionals, and other external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others, proactive, resourceful, creative, and able to take initiative.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good organisational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
