Job summary

APSN Education Services Ltd is seeking staff to support students at APSN Student Care Centre (Ang Mo Kio). You will supervise, engage and ensure safety during centre hours while assisting holistic development in academics, social skills, and activities.

The role involves monitoring progress, coordinating with parents and teachers, and helping run enrolment and centre operations in a compliant setting. Entry-level applicants are welcome with relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate in related field with 1–3 years in social service.
• Diploma in community and social services preferred; WSQ cert is an advantage.
• First Aid (CPR & AED) certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise students during Centre hours, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Assist holistic development across SPED academics and activities per APSN curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and address learning or behavioural needs with parents/teachers.
• Support Centre operations, enrolment, expenses and attainment of targets.

Work requirement

• Location: APSN Student Care Centre (Ang Mo Kio)
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and supervise students during Centre hours, ensuring their safety, well-being and active engagement in a positive, fun and supportive environment.

• Support students’ holistic development across SPED academics, social skills, personal hygiene, music, art and motor skills, in line with APSN’s curriculum.

• Monitor student progress and well-being, including observing behavioural, emotional and health concerns and working with parents and teaching staff to address learning or behavioural needs.

• Support Centre operations and administration, including student enrolment, manpower, expenses, operational matters and achievement of enrolment and financial targets.

• Maintain a safe, hygienic and compliant Centre environment, including facility upkeep, weekly premise inspections, food safety and hygiene practices, and compliance with APSN and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders including the Centre Supervisor, school leaders, teachers and parents to ensure smooth Centre operations and coordinated support for students.
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate with 1-3 years of relevant working experience in the social service sector. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.

• Preferably candidate with Diploma in community and social services (or any other equivalent or higher certification)

• Applicants with WSQ certification is of an added advantage (WSQ Introductory Student Care Centre)

• Certification in First Aid (CPR & AED) and WSQ Basic Food Hygiene is of an added advantage
