Melbourne Water is seeking a Program Lead Maintenance to guide a skilled team responsible for safe, reliable delivery of the amenity program at the Western Treatment Plant and surrounding areas.

You will manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, recruit and develop staff, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while collaborating with contractors and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the region’s amenity maintenance program.
• Manage a monthly work program across Western Suburbs and Western Treatment Plant.
• Foster a safety‑focused culture and lead teams to meet standards.
• Ensure activities are safe, efficient and compliant with requirements.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts and accruals, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Champion continuous improvement and best‑practice maintenance processes.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
• Demonstrate Melbourne Water values and inclusive leadership.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality practices.
