China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited (CMHK) is seeking a lead for maintenance management of its mobile telecom networks. The role involves overseeing installation, fault handling, inspections, and emergency repairs, with cost control and resource optimization at the core.

Applicants should have 10+ years ICT experience in mobile broadband, 5+ years in maintenance with 4G/5G, and strong English/Cantonese/Mandarin. PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years ICT post-qualification experience in mobile broadband systems.
• 5+ years maintenance management of mobile broadband systems deploying 4G/5G technologies.
• PMP certified is highly desired.
• Strong command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Familiar with telecommunication network architecture and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance management of telecom networks, coordinating installation, fault handling, daily inspections, and emergency repairs.
• Control costs related to installation and maintenance, and conduct regular checks and rectifications of network resources.
• Identify potential network issues and formulate repair, rectification, and optimization plans; implement repair projects.
• Focus on maintenance, inspection and fault removal.
• Collaborate with construction and maintenance departments to complete rectification, system upgrade and capacity expansion.
• Participate in all aspects from design review to project acceptance for maintenance works.
• Check and review project quality on completion documents.
• Assist and guide maintenance teams to ensure integrity and accuracy of maintenance works.
• Develop targeted communication support solutions for major events to ensure smooth communication.

Division : Corporate Business Delivery Centre

In this position, you will:

Oversee the maintenance management of the telecommunication networks, including coordinating and supervising tasks such as installation, fault handling, daily inspections, and emergency repairs.

Control the costs associated with installation and maintenance, and conduct regular checks and rectifications of network resources.

Identify potential network issues and formulate repair, rectification, and optimization plans. Be responsible for implementing repair projects

Focus on the maintenance, inspection and fault removal

Collaborate with the construction and maintenance department to complete tasks such as rectification, system upgrade and capacity expansion.

Participate in all aspects of the from design review to project acceptance for the maintenance works.

Check and review the project quality on completion documents.

Assist and guide the maintenance teams in their daily work related to project resources and management to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the maintenance works

Develop targeted communication support solutions for major events and important scenarios to ensure smooth communication.

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor degree or above, with a major in computer science or telecommunications being preferred.

At least ten (10) years of ICT post-qualification experience in relation to mobile broadband systems.

At least five (5) years of working experience in the maintenance management of mobile broadband systems deploying 4G or 5G technologies.

Project Management Professional certified is highly desired and considered as a plus.

Good Command of written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Be familiar with the architecture and operations of telecommunication network

Possess strong management skills to lead and train the maintenance team.

Have excellent communication, coordination, and customer relations skills, as well as the ability to understand and execute maintenance tasks accurately.

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and team - working spirit.
