Job summary

HKR International Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an experienced E&M Construction Project Lead to support planning, coordination and delivery of electrical and mechanical works across building projects. You will manage contractor performance, review technical submissions and ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager - Projects, you will lead a site supervision team, coordinate interfaces with civil, structural and architectural disciplines, and drive

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Building Studies, Building Surveying or related disciplines.
• Membership of engineering or construction related professional institutions.
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience, with minimum 2 years in a supervisory role with developers, consultancies, main contractors or E&M contractors.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing & drainage building services construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning construction plans, schedules and execution strategies.
• Lead and coordinate the site supervision team for E&M progress, quality and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments and test plans; monitor progress and quality.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interfaces and maintain progress.
• Monitor contractor performance, safety, resources and contractual compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings; address defects and non-conformities.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on construction matters.
• Ensure proper documentation, testing and handover activities.
