Job summary

Leighton Asia in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to support construction projects by ensuring efficient execution of mechanical and electrical works. You will oversee site activities, maintain quality standards, and coordinate technical requirements between stakeholders.

The role requires a degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering and a minimum of 3 years in M&E projects, with experience in main contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in E&M projects.
• Experience in Main Contractors.
• Details oriented with strong safety awareness and problem solving skill.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior M&E Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite engineering support during the construction phase, propose construction methods for various site activities.
• Monitor and supervise of work progress and co-ordinate of various activities at construction site.
• Review sub-contractors' drawings and material submission for client.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and clients ensuring technical and safety standards.
• Manage site quality control including work schedule, progress, material and equipment.
