Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our Hong Kong project teams. The role focuses on leading MVAC and electrical/ESSW system delivery, coordinating testing and commissioning, and ensuring project milestones are met.

Applicants should have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with 3+ years' relevant experience, and strong communication skills to liaise with clients and contractors across complex infrastructure projects in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience for Engineer roles
• Strong knowledge of MVAC, electrical, ELV, or ESSW systems
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and project coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with main contractors or major engineering contractors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MVAC, Electrical, or ESSW systems.
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and engineering documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.
• Monitor site progress, construction quality, safety performance, and compliance with statutory regulations and contract specifications.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and resolution of technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure project milestones, reporting requirements, documentation, and deliverables are completed on schedule.
