Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong invites applications for an Assistant Bar Manager to join the Food & Beverage Service team. Based at our flagship hotel, you will supervise restaurant operations, ensure smooth service and contribute to budgeted profit.

The role reports to the Restaurant Manager. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' relevant experience in hotel F&B, excellent managerial and interpersonal skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably in luxury hotel.
• Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a delighted bar and dining experience to our guests
• Ensure maintain smooth daily operation and high-quality service standard of the restaurant
• Handle complaints and comments tactfully
• Liaise closely with the kitchen team on food quality or presentation
• Liaise with internal and external parties on new menus and promotions
• Develop and maintain good relationships with guests
