Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels Ltd is seeking a Catering Sales professional in Hong Kong to proactively prospect, secure, and book catering business from diverse sources. You will design compelling menu proposals, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with Sales and Catering to optimize venue usage and revenue.

You will conduct site tours and negotiate terms to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Prospect, solicit, and book catering business from all lead sources.
Design creative, visually appealing menu proposals and event presentations.
Respond promptly to catering inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
Maintain a disciplined trace/follow-up system for leads and calls.
Collaborate with Sales and Catering to optimize function-space usage and revenue.
Conduct site tours for prospective clients and planners.
Negotiate rates, terms, and services to maximize revenue while meeting client needs.
Build relationships with clients and entertain as appropriate.
Close bookings by upselling all revenue centers (F&B, AV, décor, rooms).
Escalate issues to the Director of Catering for quick resolution.
Coordinate with Banquets, Kitchen, and other departments for flawless events.
Attend events as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
Participate in meetings and contribute to catering plans and budgets.
Prepare monthly catering booking and pacing reports.
Aim to meet or exceed annual catering sales targets.
