Job summary

The Madison Group, a Hong Kong-based luxury retail and lifestyle representation company, is seeking a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager to drive growth with architects, designers and trade partners. You will manage client relationships, promote premium brands, and collaborate with management to develop strategic opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in sales/business development within interior design, luxury retail or hospitality, and possess strong English and Cantonese

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, interior design or hospitality.
• Experience in B2B or B2C environments, preferably in interior design, luxury retail, lifestyle or hospitality.
• Strong interest in interior and architectural aesthetics and functionality.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; good command of Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Work with management and sales teams to identify opportunities and promote our brands with the goal of driving business growth.
• Explore, identify and develop relationships with architects and designers, trade partners and end customers.
• Develop a clear understanding of the industry, the company and its brands, sales opportunities and client requirements.
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and be able to articulate about company programs and promotion internally and externally.
• Be the front person liaising with new and potential customers at all levels.
• Monitor showroom’s operation and maintain showroom neat and tidy.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by supervisors.
