Job summary

Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong is seeking an In-house Security Officer to join our Security team at the landmark property. Based at The Landmark, you will uphold corporate standards, project a professional image to guests, and support a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Ideally you bring at least 1 year of experience in international 5-star hotels, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a good command of English.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in international 5-star luxury hotels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest interaction.
• Good command of English; other languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and uphold hotel and department standards at all times.
• Project a professional, confident and reassuring image to guests and colleagues.
• Ensure high levels of guard tour patrol compliance.
• Respond promptly to security and safety incidents and emergencies.
• Participate in all emergency drills as directed by the Security Manager.
• Familiar with emergency systems and equipment, such as fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Control access at hotel checkpoints and register visitors, contractors and suppliers.
