Job summary

ECjobsonline Sha Tin seeks a qualified Social Worker to coordinate ADHD-focused training programs in school and community settings. The role involves administration, financial management, and collaboration with partners.

Candidates should hold a social work degree, be registered as a Social Worker, and have English/Chinese language proficiency. The position is temporary with a monthly salary of HK$37,585, five-day work week.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Registered under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance (Cap.505) as Registered Social Worker.
• Grade E or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent.
• Post-qualification experience in social work or equivalent.
• Experience preferably in ADHD support service and parenting work.
• Good computer literacy; proficient in English and Chinese.

Location: Sha Tin

Roles & responsibilities:

Coordinate school-based and community-based training program, including administration, financial management and collaboration with other parties; develop training materials for students with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); and plan and implement group training for students with ADHD, parent support, teacher consultation, case intervention and community education, etc.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

a recognized degree in Social Work or equivalent; registered under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance (Cap.505) as Registered Social Worker; Grade E or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent; post-qualification experience in social work or equivalent; experience preferably in ADHD support service and parenting work; good computer literacy; and proficient in English and Chinese.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on temporary basis with salary at $37,585 per month. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
