Job summary

International Social Service Hong Kong Branch is seeking a Social Worker to provide casework, counselling, and outreach services within the D.R.E.A.M. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities.

The role involves planning, supervising programmes, and evaluating service delivery, with responsibility for interns and volunteers. Applicants should hold a recognized Social Work degree in Hong Kong, preferably with youth programme experience, and possess strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong with a recognized Degree in Social Work from a HK university or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 1 year of social work/fieldwork placement experience in planning and implementing groups and programmes for youths.
• Ability to develop programme management plan, achieve performance results, monitor and evaluate staff and programmes.
• Proven ability to network with other agencies and generate resources for the programmes.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Able to read, write and effectively communicate in Chinese and/or EM language is an advantage.

• Supervise, plan, design, develop and implement different kinds of services/programmes.
• Evaluate and monitor the implementation of home visits, outreaches and other support services.

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; medical insurance; MPF and 15 days annual leave on the first year of service.
