Job summary

Omni Group Asia Limited is seeking a Life Operation Project Senior Officer/AM (1 year contract, renewable) to drive system enhancement and transformation across underwriting, claims, and policy administration. You will bridge business users and IT, lead business analysis, BRD creation, UAT/SIT planning, and defect resolution, ensuring timely delivery and impact on customer service.

Key requirements include a bachelor's degree in business/IS/insurance/finance and 3-8 years of life insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Insurance, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 3-8 years of Life Insurance operations business analysis, project management, or system testing.
• Solid knowledge of Claims, Policy Administration, New Business Operations.
• Hands-on experience in UAT planning, test case preparation, test execution, and defect management.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with insurance core systems, workflow systems, or digital transformation projects is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancement and transformation initiatives.
• Conduct business process analysis and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Prepare BRD, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Coordinate and execute UAT, SIT, and production verification activities.
• Identify, track, and follow up on defects and issues with IT, vendors, and business users until resolution.
• Support implementation of projects relating to Claims Management, Policy Administration, and Customer and Agent Servicing Platforms.
• Facilitate communication among business users, operations teams, project managers, and technology teams.
• Assist in change management activities, including user training, documentation preparation, and production rollout support.
• Participate in system releases, process automation initiatives, and regulatory-driven projects.
• Support ad hoc operational and project assignments as required.

Life Operation Project Senior Officer/AM (1 year contract, renewable)

Reporting to the Operations Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving system enhancement and transformation projects across Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Administration functions. Acting as a bridge between business users and IT teams, you will be responsible for business analysis, requirement gathering, process improvement, and end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancement and transformation initiatives.

Conduct business process analysis and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, workflow diagrams, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system integration testing (SIT), and production verification activities.

Identify, track, and follow up on defects and issues with IT, vendors, and business users until resolution.
