Job summary

BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited is seeking a transformation specialist to join the life operation transformation team in Hong Kong. You will work with team leads to develop, implement and monitor projects that align with the company’s long-term strategy and growth goals.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve project objectives, leverage technology to boost efficiency and customer experience, and conduct thorough analysis of systems and processes to document

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business Studies, Information System, Insurance or related field.
• 5+ years in underwriting/claims/policy administration or system testing (UAT) with transformation exposure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SQL and MS Visio are advantages; fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

Responsibilities

Job description

Being as one of the core team members of the special task force, the incumbent will be implementing strategic transformation program to improve the life operation efficiency in supporting the future growth of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for:

• working with the team leads on developing, implementing and monitoring operation transformation projects aligned with the company long term strategy
• driving cross-functional collaboration across the departments to achieve project objectives
• leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
• conducting analysis on systems and processes, gathering and documenting the requirements for improvement areas
• developing testing strategy and performing User Acceptance Test
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder with major in Business Studies, Information System, Insurance or relevant disciplines
• 5 years or above working experience in underwriting/claims/policy administration or system testing (UAT) with transformational project experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Proficiency in using SQL and MS Visio will be an advantage
• Proficient in spoken & written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• This is a secondment contract role
  

Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Officer level.
