PERSOL Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Business System / IT Business Analyst for a Life Insurance in-house project. You will facilitate discovery, elicit and document requirements, and translate rules into detailed specifications. You will also analyze current setups, support tests, and maintain traceability to ensure smooth delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in life insurance, excellent communication, and immediate availability is highly preferred for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years as a business analyst in the insurance industry.
• Experience in life insurance is a must.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Business Systyem/ IT Business Analyst positions with a well-known insurance company

Exciting Role for you

Facilitate discovery workshops and requirement walkthroughs with SMEs and stakeholders.

Elicit, analyze, and document functional, system, data, interface, and configuration requirements.

Translate business processes and rules into detailed system specifications, logic flows, and acceptance criteria.

Analyse current system setup (e.g., decision logic, case/transaction flows) and assess impacts on integration and data.

Support solution reviews, scope clarification, test design support, test-data preparation, and defect triage.

Maintain requirement-to-design-to-test traceability and produce/maintain detailed system documentation.

Conduct interviews, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs to capture business needs.

Document business processes, user stories, business rules, and requirements (including acceptance criteria).

Analyse current vs. target processes, identifying gaps, impacts, dependencies, exceptions, and change considerations.

Work with SMEs, engineers, and vendors to clarify requirements and confirm solution fit.

Support prioritization, scope clarification, testing coordination, and implementation validation.

Maintain requirement traceability and clear requirement documentation to enable delivery and rollout.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Systems, Computer Science or other related discipline
• Minimum 8years of working experience as a business analyst/ business applicaiton analystin insurance industry
• Experiences in life insurance is a must.
• Good analytical, problem solving and organizing skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• *Immediate availability is highly preferred*
