Job summary

Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings Limited seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead a Workday HCM implementation. The role focuses on aligning business needs with system design, coordinating vendor work, and driving successful delivery.

You will oversee requirements, testing, data migration, security, and post-go-live support, working closely with HR, IT, and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Workday implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM and HR processes.
• Experience with workshop facilitation and requirements gathering.
• Ability to translate business requirements into Workday configuration.
• Workday Core HCM certification (mandatory); additional Workday certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for full-cycle Workday HCM implementation: planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Oversee workshops and requirements gathering with HR and stakeholders.
• Understand HR processes and recommend best-practice Workday solutions.
• Identify gaps and define workarounds or alternative solutions.
• Oversee configuration by external SI and ensure optimization across HCM modules.
• Design and validate Workday processes, security, org structures, and reporting.
• Define and govern testing strategy with vendors, HR and IT for SIT/UAT and defects.
• Identify training needs and develop end-user materials; deliver training.
• Support change management with stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Lead issue resolution and ensure system stability post go-live.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors on integrations and data interfaces.
• Govern vendor deliverables and maintain project documentation.
• Stay current with Workday releases and best practices.
