Job summary

RecruitFirst Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced IT Lead to supervise End User Support and Trade Floor operations. You will provide hands-on desktop and VDI support, manage trading platforms like Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, and EBS, and coordinate with regional IT teams.

The role requires 6+ years in IT, banking experience, and 2-3 years in supervision, with strong English and Cantonese communication. You will also oversee patching, security controls, and vendor deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in IT or related discipline.
• At least 6 years’ IT experience in sizeable firms and preferably in banking industry, with 2-3 years in team supervision.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong experience in Trade Floor Support within a financial institution.
• Hands-on experience supporting Bloomberg and other trading platforms such as Refinitiv/LSEG, EBS, and Dealer Board.
• Solid knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, VDI, VMware, Endpoint Security Solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise End User Support, Trade Floor Support, and daily IT Operations.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for desktops, virtual environments, and endpoint systems.
• Deliver technical support for treasury and trading users, including Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, EBS, and other trading-related applications.
• Ensure smooth operation of trading floor technologies and market data platforms.
• Manage endpoint infrastructure, patch management, cybersecurity controls, and system administration tools.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories.
• Coordinate with regional and head office technology teams on project implementation and support.
• Work closely with vendors on system deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Support IT projects and technology enhancement initiatives.
