Job summary

HKUST’s Information Technology Services Office invites applications for an AV/IT position. The appointee will develop, design, evaluate, implement and setup AV systems in line with the University’s IT strategy.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher diploma and at least 5 years of relevant AV experience. English and Chinese proficiency, strong troubleshooting, and AV‑over‑IP fluency are required. The contract is 2 years (renewable) with fringe benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 5+ years in AV field.
• Strong English and Chinese (Putonghua) skills.
• Fluency in AV-over-IP technologies and IT integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, evaluate, implement and setup AV systems.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for AV systems and equipment.
• Assist project planning and tender drafting.
• Keep abreast of AV market trends and best practices.
