Job summary

ACT Genomics (HK) Ltd is seeking a Junior Accountant to support daily financial operations in Hong Kong. You will handle ERP entries, AR activities, payments, and assist with month-end closings and budgeting, collaborating across departments to ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working under tight deadlines, with fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. This role requires an Associate Degree or higher in accounting or related field.

Qualifications

Associate Degree or above, preferably in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

ERP System Operations: Handle purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt entries, and enter expenses into ERP.
Banking and Receipts: Deposit cheques and prepare COD patient receipts.
Accounts Receivable Support: Assist in invoices, payment advice, daily accounting, and payment allocations.
Month-End Closing: Support month-end activities.
Cash Handling and Reporting: Manage petty cash and PAR documents.
Financial Analysis and Budgeting: Prepare monthly revenue reports and monitor project pricing.
Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
