Job summary

Michael Page’s Hong Kong-based client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Officer to support daily accounting operations, including data entry, payment processing and invoice verification.

The candidate should have a diploma or above in Accounting/Finance, 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, and strong Excel skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is required, with a willingness to learn and collaborate within the finance team.

Qualifications

• Handle daily accounting operations including data entry, payment processing and invoice verification.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of accounting schedules.

The Successful Applicant

• Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Around 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized and willing to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese(Mandarin & Cantonese)
