Job summary

TVB Group Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced IT Operations professional to plan, coordinate, and supervise daily activities across diverse environments. You will drive batch scheduling, monitor performance, and lead incident management to ensure service levels are met.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Mainframe, Linux, Windows, and Cloud platforms, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Overseeing maintenance and on-call support are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, CS or related field.
• At least 3 years IT Operations/Data Centre/System Admin experience.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mainframe, and Cloud environments.
• Experience with batch scheduling and monitoring tools preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Familiarity with IT service and incident management processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operational activities to meet departmental objectives and service levels.
• Organize workloads, workflows, schedules, and operational priorities to implement management goals.
• Schedule, monitor, and operate batch jobs across Mainframe, Linux, Windows, and Cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve batch processing failures promptly.
• Monitor system performance and ensure stability and availability of critical business systems.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor support services.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and user guides.
• Provide Tier 2 support during non-office hours and participate in on-call support.
