Job summary

Eternity Consultants (HK) Limited is looking for a skilled IT professional to manage Synology systems and ensure the security of network settings. Your responsibilities will include system setup, remote assistance, and liaising with service providers for troubleshooting issues.

The ideal candidate should have an IT qualification, a strong knowledge of SQL, and a preference for experience in cybersecurity. You should also be willing to travel to China occasionally for maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Firewall concept (Fortinet) preferred.
• Able to self-develop tools to increase office working efficiency preferable.
• Relative job experience required (if Senior Level).

Responsibilities

• Manage Synology system at Normal Application Level.
• Set up systems and provide remote assistance.
• Analyze system logs and troubleshoot with service providers.
• Travel to Hong Kong or overseas for IT maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Synology system: Normal Application Level
• System setup
• Remote assistance
• Check and analyze system log
• Liaise with Service Provider Support for troubleshooting
• Site visit required if ship stays at Hong Kong and there is an onboard IT task
• Possibility to travel overseas (majority China) if major IT maintenance

Qualifications

• Network & Security Setting – Good understanding of Firewall concept (Fortinet) preferred
• Support task involve Network control Setting
• Cyber Hygiene and Security Setup concept preferred
• Program Language – SQL language knowledge preferable
• Able to self‑develop tools to increase office working efficiency preferable
• Certification – IT qualification related required
• Holding of CISSP Certificate is a plus
• Relative job experience required (if Senior Level)
• Willing to travel to China occasionally
