Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd. seeks an experienced professional to lead the IPO Vetting Department within the Listing Division.

The role focuses on processing IPO applications, supervising a portfolio of listings, and producing committee-ready comments and reports. The candidate should have a strong legal or accounting background with at least 7 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in English and Chinese, with Putonghua as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyers or accountants with at least 7 years' experience.
• Experience with Listing Rules and securities industry practices.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; Putonghua a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of IPO applications and monitor progress.
• Draft comment letters and Department reports to the Listing Committee.
• Assist in handling pre-IPO enquiries and IPO policy matters.
• Provide support for ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Provide accounting, legal or other professional support to the Listing Division.
