Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Hong Kong seeks a VP I- Insurance to proactively identify commercial insurance opportunities and provide direct sales services to customers, engaging CMB RMs and frontline partners. You will convert opportunities into revenue and regularly meet targets while maintaining strong relationships and excellent after-sales service.

You will advise clients on I&I solutions, support trainings, and mentor teammates to achieve sales goals, all within regulatory guidelines and HSBC's

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Insurance sales experience and ability to identify commercial opportunities.
• IIQE, Paper 1-5 or equivalent insurance qualifications per regulatory requirements.
• RI license (HKSI Paper 1,7 & 8) or equivalent wealth management qualifications.
• Strong communication and sales skills in English and Chinese; Putonghua a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify commercial insurance opportunities and provide direct sales services to customers, engaging CMB RMs and frontline partners.
• Convert opportunities into revenue with a high closing ratio and regularly achieve targets.
• Manage relationships and grow customers’ I&I wallet share through excellent after-sales service.
• Work with CMB RMs daily to build trust and respond to referrals promptly.
• Provide professional advice on how I&I can fulfill business requirements.
• Support I&I trainings/workshops for internal/external customers as required.
• Mentor less experienced team members to achieve sales targets as a team.
• Engage CMB Directors and Team Heads in formulating and executing business strategy.
• Maintain compliance with all internal and external rules, regulations and guidelines.
• Strive to meet quality sales measures as set by the company.
