Job summary

Bangkok Bank Public Co Ltd in Hong Kong invites a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Hong Kong Branch. You will administer Windows and Linux servers, manage storage and backup, monitor performance, and drive upgrades and security controls.

The role requires a bachelor's in IT/CS and at least 3 years in infrastructure admin within banking or regulated sectors. Experience with Dell EMC, Veeam, VMware, and Active Directory is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in infrastructure administration in banking/regulatory environments.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Linux, AD, and virtualization.
• Experience with storage/backup platforms (Dell EMC, HPE, Veeam, NetBackup).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tech (SIEM, IDS/IPS, proxy, endpoint security) is a plus.
• Certifications in Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, Networking, or Cybersecurity are preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure administration and support in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.

Hands-on experience with technologies, such as Windows Server, Linux Administration, Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking, VPN Technologies, VMware and/or Hyper-V, Enterprise Storage & Backup Solutions, etc.

Experience with enterprise storage and backup platforms (e.g. Dell EMC, HPE, Veeam, NetBackup) and knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, Proxy, and Endpoint Security solutions, are advantageous.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, Networking, or Cybersecurity certifications are preferred.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A team player with strong self-motivation and is able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
