A leading long-term real estate investment firm is seeking an experienced Manager, Information Technology to lead its regional IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and technology-transformation agenda across Asia.
This is a broad, high-impact role with primary responsibility for Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam and Shanghai. The successful candidate will combine hands‑on technical depth with strategic leadership, ensuring the organisation’s technology environment is secure, resilient, scalable and aligned to business priorities.

The role
You will own the design, management and security of the enterprise technology environment, including Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery and end‑user computing.
You will also oversee managed service providers, SOC vendors and specialist technology partners; manage IT budgets and project delivery; and help drive cloud, AI, automation and digital‑transformation initiatives across the business.
Key responsibilities
Technology strategy and architecture
- Define and maintain the organisation’s IT architecture, technology standards and roadmap.
- Ensure technology solutions support business objectives, security requirements and operational needs.
- Assess emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools, to improve productivity and business outcomes.
- Provide practical, commercially minded technology advice to senior stakeholders.
Infrastructure and cloud
- Manage enterprise infrastructure across servers, virtualisation, storage, backup, networking and end‑user computing.
- Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Defender, Purview, Entra ID and Copilot.
- Design, manage and secure Microsoft Azure environments, covering cloud infrastructure, identity, governance, backup, recovery and security.
- Maintain high availability, performance, capacity planning and lifecycle management across all core platforms.
Cybersecurity and risk
- Lead cybersecurity governance, security operations, incident response, vulnerability management and employee security‑awareness initiatives.
- Oversee endpoint, network, cloud and identity controls to protect corporate systems and data.
- Manage security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement remediation and continuous‑improvement measures.
- Support regulatory, audit and cybersecurity compliance requirements across the regional business.
Business continuity and resilience
- Develop and maintain backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity strategies.
- Coordinate regular disaster‑recovery testing and ensure recovery objectives reflect business requirements.
- Manage disaster‑recovery providers and recovery readiness across both cloud and on‑premises environments.
Vendor, project and budget management
- Manage relationships with MSPs, SOC providers, cloud vendors, cybersecurity partners and consultants.
- Monitor service levels, vendor performance, contracts, costs and technology risks.
- Lead vendor selection, procurement, contract negotiations and renewals.
- Deliver infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud migration, ERP, AI and wider digital‑transformation projects.
- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks and stakeholder communications.
- Own annual IT budgets, software licensing, cloud consumption and technology‑investment planning.
- Identify opportunities to optimise cost without compromising security, resilience, compliance or service quality.
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 8–10 years’ experience across IT infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity.
- At least five years’ experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong experience in IT architecture, solution design and regional technology operations.
- Hands‑on expertise in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience overseeing outsourced IT operations, MSPs and SOC providers.
- Strong knowledge of backup, storage, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Track record of leading technology transformation, cloud migration or enterprise‑change projects.
- Experience managing IT budgets, procurement processes and technology vendors.
- Regional or multi‑country support experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, judgement, analytical ability and problem‑solving skills.
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
